Another successful year and a special milestone as Another successful year and a special milestone as we celebrate the 5th Anniversary of the Harvard Square Philippine American Alliance in Boston, Massachusetts! 🇵🇭🇺🇸🎉 Five years of bringing our rich Filipino culture and traditions to life through music, dance, food, and shared experiences! Despite the rain, everyone came out to celebrate and show their love and support. Truly grateful to everyone who made this event so memorable! ❤️ A special thank you to Gabby Concepcion and Jam Morales for sharing their incredible talents and making this milestone celebration even more special! Here’s to celebrating our heritage, bringing communities together, and creating beautiful memories! Happy 93rd birthday in heaven, Mommy. 🕊️❤️ So muc Happy 93rd birthday in heaven, Mommy. 🕊️❤️ So much of who I am came from what you instilled in me, your values, your wisdom, your strength, and most of all, your understanding heart. But you didn’t only help shape me. You helped me raise my children. So much of who my boys are today carries your touch, and I will forever be grateful for that. As a mother, I could give them everything I had in me, but there are certain things only a grandmother can give…that extra layer of love, wisdom, history and belonging. You gave them that. ❤️ You always said that one of the greatest gifts we can give our parents is to let them see what they taught us reflected in the way we live our lives. I understand that more than ever. I miss you, Mommy, especially during those moments when I wish I could simply ask, “Mommy, what do you think?” I feel you and I know you’re watching over me, over us. Thank you, Mommy. Love you very much.❤️
My final Italy post 🇮🇹❤️ I have to say, one of the My final Italy post 🇮🇹❤️ I have to say, one of the biggest highlights of this trip was spending time with my husband’s family- cousins in Chittanova, Calabria. I loved seeing my husband completely in his element. I don’t know how else to explain it—I just saw him so, so happy. ❤️ And that alone made this part of our trip so special to me. The last time I saw his family was in 2015, so I feel very fortunate that I got to see them again and, this time, really get to know them better. And let me tell you… they FED us. 😂 And fed us some more. The food, sitting around the table, spending time together, the simplicity of life there… I loved all of it. The language was definitely a little challenging—even with Google Translate! 😂 Thank God my husband speaks Italian. But now I’m thinking a future trip might already be brewing… maybe just me and the girls next time, staying in Chittanova and actually learning the language. 🇮🇹❤️ There was just something so special about our time there. Nothing fancy. Just family, food, conversations, laughter and being together. Such a beautiful experience and definitely one of my favorite parts of Italy. ❤️ Until next time, Italia. 🇮🇹

I couldn’t help but think… generations later, here I am, finally experiencing a little piece of where I came from. ❤️The history, the culture, the architecture… and we got to see a Mozart classical concert too👏🏼🎻What an experience!
